DESCRIPTION:Big things are happening in NWA! Jones Center is launching GoodWorks\, our state’s first volunteer center\, to power local non-profits and bring our region together through hands-on service\, thanks to support from Walmart\, Walmart Family Foundation and Tyson Foods\, Inc. \nThe Beaver Watershed Alliance is proud to be an event partner for their inaugural Day of Service on September 12th! \n\nWhen: September 12th\, 10 AM – 12 PM\nWho: Open to all ages and experience levels—families welcome!\nWhat: Choose your volunteer project from a list of 14 participating organizations and make a big difference right here in your own backyard.\n\n\n\nReady to join us? RSVPs are required through GoodWorks platform.\nClick HERE to RSVP and register for your shift. \n \nWant to roll up your sleeves with the Alliance team on September 12th?\nRead on for details about our Alliance Day of Service Project and what to expect:\n       \nJoin us for an invasive plant and litter removal volunteer event at Walker Park in Fayetteville on September 12th from 10 am – 12 pm. We will be removing invasive plant species and litter from this important community park. Help us restore Spout Spring Branch and the urban forests around Walker Park! \nAll tools\, equipment\, training\, water\, and snacks will be provided. Recommended: wear long sleeves\, pants\, and sturdy shoes. Meet at the parking lot at the corner of W. 13th Street & S.
