SUMMARY:Earth Day Town Branch Cleanup & Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Marion Orton Recycling Center for the Mayor’s Earth Day Proclamation\, followed by a family-friendly city-wide cleanup of Fayetteville parks\, lakes\, streams\, trails\, and streets! We’ll kick things off with snacks and coffee\, then volunteers will be given supplies and a cleanup destination; t-shirts and Recycle Something gear will be given out at the end of the event.  This cleanup is rain or shine but may be delayed in the case of a downpour or thunder and lightning. Parking for the kickoff event is available across North street at St. James Missionary Baptist Church\, but in the spirit of Earth Day we encourage you to bike or carpool if possible. \nAs part of the Earth Day Celebration\, the Beaver Watershed Alliance will be hosting a cleanup at Town Branch Creek.
