SUMMARY:Forum #3: Smart Growth for Source Water Protection

Identifying and articulating the economic incentives of Smart Growth practices. \nWhen: June 1st\, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm \nWhere: Beaver Water District\, Lowell \nBring a goal! Northwest Arkansas is home to Beaver Lake\, the drinking water source for 1 in 5 Arkansans\, making it even more important for the area to grow with Smart Growth principles in mind. \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND THESE FORUMS? \nAll are welcome to attend these public forums. We encourage city\, county and community planners to attend\, design and engineering professionals\, government staff\, and encourage water professionals to attend. \nWHAT WILL ATTENDEES TAKE AWAY FROM THESE FORUMS? \nAttendees will participate in conversations on various topics of Smart Growth principles that may apply to Northwest Arkansas\, gain tools for advancing Smart Growth at any scale\, learn about successful case studies\, network with others\, and so much more! \n  \nSpecial thanks to the following: \n
