SUMMARY:Watershed Soil Health & Volunteer Workday
DESCRIPTION:Join the Alliance and the Madison County Master Gardeners for a hands-on community workday and educational demonstration! \n\n\nThe Madison County Extension Service will host a live demonstration on soil testing and show you how to easily check the health of your own ground.Then\, we will put that knowledge into action! This project focuses on using nature-based solutions to build healthy topsoil\, prevent erosion\, and protect our local water quality. Together\, we’ll prep the ground\, laying the foundation for a future native planting coming this fall. \n\n\nTOOLS\, SUPPLIES\, AND TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. PLEASE WEAR LONG PANTS AND STURDY SHOES. \n\n\nWe welcome all volunteers to stay after the event for a complimentary lunch at noon! \nWe want to thank our partners who made this project possible with the generous contribution from Ruf’s Fund to Conserve the War Eagle and with the support of the Madison County Master Gardeners\, Madison County\, the Extension Service\, and Beaver Water District!
