Join us for an Invasive Plant Removal & Litter Cleanup volunteer event at Lake Atalanta on Tuesday, April 21st from 2-4PM! Volunteers will have the option to remove invasive plant species such as Bush Honeysuckle and Chinese Privet or clean up litter from Lake Atalanta’s trails.
All tools, training, equipment, water, and snacks will be provided. Optional: bring your own water bottle and gloves, OR these will also be provided! Recommended: wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy shoes for invasive plant removal activities.
Meet at Lake Atalanta’s main pavilion at 120 N. Lake Atalanta Road at 2:00 PM for instructions and an overview about BWA, our work, and why this watershed is important!
