Join us at the Anderson Family Farm for a Lunch & Learn about Project BEACON, a collaborative effort focused on using biochar-amended poultry litter to build better soil quality while protecting our local water resources.
What we’ll cover:
- On-Farm Benefits: Learn about bio-char amended litter and how it helps build soil quality while keeping nutrients on your land.
- Field Sampling: Representatives from Arkansas Discovery Farms will discuss edge of field sampling at the University of Arkansas’ newest Discovery Farm.
- Producer Incentives: Learn how local producers can participate in a voluntary pilot study offering free amended litter applications and incentive payments.
