Watershed Soil Health & Volunteer Workday

Join the Alliance and the Madison County Master Gardeners for a hands-on community workday and educational demonstration!

The Madison County Extension Service will host a live demonstration on soil testing and show you how to easily check the health of your own ground.Then, we will put that knowledge into action! This project focuses on using nature-based solutions to build healthy topsoil, prevent erosion, and protect our local water quality. Together, we’ll prep the ground, laying the foundation for a future native planting coming this fall.

TOOLS, SUPPLIES, AND TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED. PLEASE WEAR LONG PANTS AND STURDY SHOES.

We welcome all volunteers to stay after the event for a complimentary lunch at noon!
