ANRC Litter Transport from designated Nutrient Surplus Area (NSA) in Arkansas

This project aimed to aid in the distribution of poultry litter from the Nutrient Surplus Area in Arkansas to other parts of the state for use as a fertilizer. The project will assist in the re-distribution by way of providing subsidy payments. The purpose of this project is to reduce the application of animal manure to decrease the effects of nutrient runoff. This project was completed in 2010.
