The Alliance is excited to announce the launch of our exclusive Bonfire store, featuring custom shirts, hats, bags, and tumblers! Every item showcases one of three unique designs celebrating the watershed we love and our favorite outdoor activities: Ozark Hollers, The Lake & Lure, and The Paddler.
Our Watershed: Because of its unique, winding shape, Beaver Lake features dozens of branches and steep-sided valleys typical of the Ozarks, known locally as hollers. These hollers feed major tributaries like the West Fork White River, War Eagle Creek, Richland Creek, and the White River.
Our History: Hundreds of these hollers are named after early settlers or explorers like Van Winkle Hollow, local activities like Hogscald Hollow, or unique features like Rocky Branch Hollow. These named and unnamed hollers reflect the deeply dissected Ozark terrain that drains into Beaver Lake.
The Mission: Supporting BWA isn’t simply buying a shirt or making a donation. It’s joining a community of people who believe clean water is worth protecting and making a statement that this place matters, these lands and waters matter, and that protecting them is part of who we are.
